Medical Assistant

The  Medical  Assistant  program  is  established   following  the  guidelines
of  the  Louisiana Medical Practice  Act  and   the  American  Association  of  
Medical Assistants. Graduates are qualified  to  work in general and specialty  
medical practices,  hopitals,  home health agencies, laboratories, blood banks 
and  other  areas  utilizing clinical skills or in administrative positions in
medical practice or medical insurance companies.
